I was just reading about the earthquake in some of the state fora. Some minor damage to at least one poster's house (Delaware). Glad you guys are okay.

I've only felt an earthquake twice here in Indiana. First time, I was in college (1972-73 school year) and it happened in the middle of the night. Scared the heck our of me and my roommate. No damage, but stuff fell off some people's shelves in the upper levels of our dormitory. Second time was summer of 1987, and I was at my sister's house. It was way cool! Very noisy, with all of her sun catchers rattling against the windows. I stood in a doorway with my hands on the jambs, feeling the movement of the house swaying from side to side. It was fascinating. My sis was standing out in the yard, and didn't feel a thing. The quake lasted about 30 seconds, if I recall correctly.

We've had a couple other quakes in this area in the past few years, but I did not feel them.

So I wonder about the safety in dog houses during an earthquake?

As someone who has had foundation work done, does a waranty cover the "jello" dance?
