I'll go first:

Chores await and I don't care; in the morning, they'll still be there.

Okay, you can do better than this!

My birthday falls just a week from tomorrow
But I don't have to deal with the Medicare horror.
That's right, I am safe for another year
From making decisions based purely on fear.

To do so I have to post a quote of sorts. This is the inspiration for my status. It's from the album "These Things Too" by Pearls Before Swine. Partway down the page. Tom Rapp/Pearls Before Swine Lyrics

"Sail Away"
By Tom Rapp

I have just come back from the land beyond the mountain
This is not a story I was told
When all the people are made out of wood
They build their houses of bones
  • Sail away, Oh sail away
The edge of the world is near
Sail away, Oh sail away from here
I have just come back from the land beyond the mountain
All the cigarettes are hand rolled
Nothing is bought and nobody is sold
And everything's made of gold I have just come back from the land beyond the mountain
There a man with wounds I did see
Said: I do not want to escape from reality
I want reality to escape from me

Let's get silly
I wanna live like a hillbilly. Sorry I couldn't do better.

I'm up way too late.
It's a terrible state.
Tomorrow I'll yawn
When I get up at dawn.
It's time now for bed
Where I'll lay down my head
And start counting sheep
Till I fall asleep.

It's almost 3 and here is me
Posting upon this thread
If I were smart
I think I'd start
To crawl into my bed

But then I'm not the smartest guy
To ever join C-D
So if this verse
Seems quite perverse
Please have pity on me

I'm about to have my dinner
It's sure to be a real winner
I'm sitting down to broasted pork
After which I'll need a walk.

This morning I'm tired, but wish I was wired;
I stayed up too late on C-D.
I must now stay awake, or else I'll get fired.
I think I'll go get me some tea.

The caffeine will help me to greet the new day,
It'll put some bounce into my step.
So if the boss calls me, I'll be quite okay,
Cause I finally got back my pep!
