No, but my sister did. It wasn't a total change--she just decided that she wanted to be called "Tory" instead of Vicki (for Victoria). She was in her mid twenties at the time. It was a little hard to get used to at first and our parents still call her "Vicki".
My neighbor had a son named Tory Jason. When the show "Beverly Hills 90210 and Tory Spelling" became popular, Tory Jason chose to be called "Jason". He never legally changed his name, but he's been Jason ever since.

My dad changed our families last name from his step dads to his birth dads last name. Have to provide a legal change of name document for some legal transactions.
Well here's one for the books. When my mom was born and the nurse was filling out the form for her birth certificate under childs name the nurse wrote Female. My grandma never changed it but they called her Carmela. Then when my mom was a teen she didn't want a boy to know that her name was Carmela so she had all her friends call her Kim. Well that name has followed her for the last 60+ years. It says Kim on her driver license, ss card You can imagine how hard it was for her to get her passport 2 years ago after 9/11.
Now can you believe I followed right in her path... I was teased with my middle name London so when I went to get my license I brought my b/c I put that it was Rose , they didn't even check it. I have my real first name but a different middle name and on my passport I put both names London Rose. So basically my birth certific says one name, my license and ss card say another and my passport says YET another one. How's that one for you
I did. Many years ago, but not because I hated my name, my dad named me and part of it is French, which I kept that part, but am now contemplating the last name change. Just cant decide which of three to pick, my grandmothers maiden, or my mothers maiden, or somehow a combination of both...?
I changed my last name when I was 18. A little bit of legal paperwork, and it's all done. I have no regrets.
