Good morning peevers.

I need to dash.

Um, what to say today? Have we had this one before? I've got a workman arriving later, and expect him here at 11am.

Today's peeve;

When you are expecting a delivery or a workman, and even take time off, and it or he doesn't turn up.

Been there; done that. I absolutely HATE it. I have precious few vacation days from work, and to use one up for nothing when an appointment doesn't show......it's enough to make my blood boil!

That's why, if possible, we fix it ourselves!

Yes, and that was the case this morning with an issue at the lake which is a two and one half hour drive to the lake. I kept explaining to this guy that we need a time frame to expect him, because none of us has the time to sit around all day or take a day off--since he has failed to show before. My uncle is going out, so he better be there
