I've used that line too many times in the past.

My teen years, my mother: "If I hear that line one more time, I'm going to turn into a beast, and then I'll use that line after I beat you to a pulp! I was only being human!"

I think one of the worst characteristics of society today is that they are so self serving.....they don't even realize what jerks they really are.
