As usual I'm typing this the night before and searching for divine inspiration.
I'm looking at something we saw advertised on one of those shopping channels, and this gives me an idea for a peeve;
Products that don't live up to their promise.
Oh this happens to me most of the time. And each time I get sucked into this, I think it will be different...but oh no.
I usually end up disappointed in the crap I purchase.......and that is what it is......crap
I think that some of them do, if we read the fine print before buying it. Stuff like 'will hold up to 5 gallons'...meaning it could hold 3, 4 or 5 gallons...or 'serves 6'....yeah, it might serve six people, if they only take one scoop...how about 'hauls [i]up to[i] 2 tons....meaning it can haul 2 tons if youre coasting down a slope but not climbing up a mountain terrain. But I do agree with you, some products can be misleading!
This, along with the wet toilet seat in a public bathroom, is high on almost everyone's peeve list. Products just get shoddier and shoddier as time goes on.
I find it works best to just assume it's going to be junk and then be pleasantly surprised when it's not. Don't ya just love life's little surprises.
