I remember years ago when my truck was covered with ice from a sleet storm, what a mess. It was late at night when I got off work, dark and cold when I found the pickup iced over with -70 below "wind-chill". I was able to pick along the seam on the door with a pocket knife until I could open it. The battery was almost dead but it dead get the engine started and took 30 minutes to warm up the inside of the truck. Nobody should have to live that way in the winter.
