It is always a good idea to write everything down....especially contracts/agreements between two people.

I had a friend many years ago who kept a journal by writing down each day things that took place....work hours, illness', car repairs, bank transactions.....and this came in so handy when she had to go back to check something. I wished SO MANY TIMES I had taken up her habit.

It's all about the paper trail, sun queen. Now, how many of us have written things down (maybe in anger), that we wish we would not have written?

Putting something down in writing right after it happens is better than trying to remember the details later. That's what "debriefing" is all about.

Did you ever play that game when you were a kid where you sit in a circle, whisper a story into the ear next to you, and it goes all the way around the circle? Well, by the time the story gets back to the original story teller it is so far off course it isn't even funny.

So the proverb...don't trust what has been told and told again before it ever got written down. Write it down from the start and it will have more truth and more value than anything that was told "word of mouth"....but yeah don't write in anger, lol.

You just can't trust verbal stories not being distorted. Try it and you'll see.
