Happy hump day, kids! If you've got a pair of stinky sneakers or other shoes, today's tip is for you!
Smelly Sneakers: Simply fill knee-high stockings with unused litter, tie the ends and tuck them in overnight for a quick refresh. Add baby powder, too!
Another refresher for smelly sneakers is to simply take a few teaspoons of baking soda and put in the center of a cotton cloth. Tie the cloth and rubber band the edges securely creating a baking soda sachet, which you put in the shoes overnight as well. These sachets can be used over and over in any kind of shoe.
Glad our days of stinky sneaker/soccer cleat days are long gone. We did use the baking soda. Rolled up newspaper stuffed inside the shoe helped to take the moisture out of the cleats over night, also!!!
I posess a fabulous collection of Hanes socks. Loads of them. Almost all in new condition. Heck, I can go in my drawers right now and grab a few unworn pairs. My point is that with such a collection of the greatest socks you can buy you can live happily ever after - without getting stinkfoot. Change them frequently, keep yourself fluffy from nice showers and good smelling soaps & shampoos....it may be different for other people, I don't know...I don't do much walking or running or anything to get me sweaty. What the heck am I talking about here at 2:26 a.m.? I love your tip, PJ8! It makes good sense!
Uh oh, I read the part about "unused" litter too late
Ahahahahaha!
