The best place to find a helping hand is at the end of your own arm.

Good proverb....
Problem is my left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing most of the time.

Yeah, that's usually where I find a helping hand. At least the one at the end of your arm doesn't do too much complaining, right!? Good morning all!

I'm holding out for the 'delegation' proverb.

That's also the most likely place to find the hands that will applaud you after you're done doing all the hard work, too.

Unless you are a generational welfare recipient and prefer to let the taxpayer foot the bill for "helping you"........

Can't wait around for others to help you. You gotta do it yourself!

"Faith without works is dead..." I have also heard it said "God helps those who help themselves", I have never read that in the Bible though. However, it is easier to be helped when u r using your own hands to do it. My grandmother use to say " let not your hands be idle- always to what u can and let God do the rest"

I agree! You've got to try and help yourself first. Then ask for help if you need to.
