All I can say on this subject is God better have mercy on the person who abuses an animal in front of me cause I won't have any while I am beating them within an inch of their sad, pathetic, and horrible life.

We are big animal lovers in our family. Up until Monday morning we had 3 dogs. Our female Shepard died in my sons arms that morning. Evie was his best friend and his therapy dog as well. She just suddenly bled out,no time to even take her to our vet. The very last thing she did was to wag her tail like she always did when she was happy.

Animals always give us such love with no strings. It's beyond belief that people can be so cruel to them. Yes,I agree that the torturers of animals should be subject to the same treatment they inflicted on the poor creature that they murdered. They deserve no better.

When he feels ready, we are going to our local shelter and get a rescued dog for him. More people should do this.

Thanks for the link NWV. That was nice to see those beautiful dogs and read how they are doing.

My heart goes out to you and your family. At least you were able to be there at the end. I was with my boy also when his time came.

People that hurt animals make me sick. There is definitely something wrong with them!!

This is more than a pet peeve of mine it outright ANGERS ME BEYOND CONTROL!! I can't even watch the TV commercial with the abused/abandoned animals on it. My husband and I are huge animal lovers and I will not stand by and let someone abuse an animal or a child........yeah, I will go there!!

I'm getting all worked up just typing about it......

This video made me CRAZY!! I could only watch a little more than a minute and had to click out of it. These aren't human beings. They're not animals. They're monsters!!! I don't know what the outcome of this has been because I have to mute the story when it comes on the tv!!!

Well I ain't watching it! I USED to eat veal UNTIL one of those special interest stories came on the news - think my DS was still in diapers at the time. Started watching it until I became so horrified I switched the channel. Haven't touched it since - even the eggs I bought in the States were the Happy Chicken eggs (the woman even wrote her contact info on the carton if you wanted to talk about her chickens lol). The eggs here, well, all of the chickens are free range, as well as cows, etc. No locking them up and pumping them full of chemicals and god only knows what else.

Oh yeah, this is a big peeve of mine!! I love animals and anyone that is intentionally cruel to them is a very sick, disturbed human being.
