Nah, I think Mike was referring to that big deck he's been bragging about lately.

It has to be cool and a fan has to be on me. My pillow also has to have a soft cover on it. I like at least 3 pillows (but I can do with less) and I bunch them around me - right side, left side, and under my head. I like my sheets tucked in at the bottom so my feet are cozy.

That is my ideal, but when the SO is with me he hogs the bed, sheets, and sometimes drapes himself over me. He's like an oven so I have to try to escape without waking him up.

Since I'm a night shift worker, I sleep 9am to 5pm on the days I work, so my bedroom is designed for that, not a ray of sunshine enters my domain. I even have separate walls and a roof surrounding my bed.

And, I can't sleep at night unless I have a pillow between my feet.

In addition, one Benadryl and one Tylenol PM.

Now if took two more Tylenol PM's before sleep, well, then I wouldn't be so darn fussy!

I can sleep anywhere as long as I have 1 pillow, fan running, sound maker, and the air conditioning on

I used to be able to sleep anytime, anywhere, and slept for a straight eight, or more hours.

Now, if I don't take two calcium tablets, a melatonin, a couple of antihistamines, and go to bed at the same time every night, I wake several times in the night. It's another adjustment I attribute to aging.

I have a difficult time sleeping. I thought it was because I have a lot on my mind and I am not getting everything I need, but I am on vaction, the area is absolutely breath taking and I can't sleep. I am in the hotel lobby using their computer to play on cd because I can't sleep. Maybe the ritual would help I am not sure. I can hardly wait for the sun to come up I am going hiking in the mountains with lost of bug repellant. They love my desert taste. I seem to be the only one their biting...LOL
