I totally misjudged Bangkok's climate when there, high 90's everyday and high 90's humidity, and I had a scattered Orbitz ticket so I couldn't change my return date without paying full fare back. Thank God my hotel had a pool, I was miserable for the 10 days, even a gun to my head couldn't have produced a smile.

Except the day I left as I called for a taxi to the Airport!

Taxi driver: Ah! You happy, many smiles! You like Bangkok! You come back to visit us!
