The Berkshires Of Winter Park runs a credit check but they are pretty leniant. I have horrible credit and still was approved. The rent is really reasonable and gives discounts for students. Are you attending Full Sail?

Oh and I forgot to mention that I reserved the apartment without ever looking at it (before I moved here) and was pretty satisfied. It was a pretty easy process.

Are you going to UCF? There is a lot of off campus housing, usually 4 to an apt, every one has their own room and bathroom. The rent runs around 500-600 each person but that covers cable, wireless internet and most of utilities (overages are split by the housemates). We co-signed for our daughter and faxed the paperwork.
