Hi Orlando! I was laid-off recently and want to get back to Florida (currently in Atlanta area
). Aldi, the small grocery store chain, is moving into the Florida market in a big way. I am interested in management with them. Anyone have the 411 on this company? I've researched it online and it seems like a good opportunity for somebody who's trying to re-invent herself. Your comments/opinions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks....

I like the store and I know they pay $20/hr for managers.

They are the peak of efficiency. and very few are used to run the store. The "manager" will also take a part in most every function in the store. They have expanded quickly in our market. The 2 brothers that developed the company are German and divided their operations. Both of them are among the top 100 wealthiest billionaires.

I really do like Aldi like I said. I'm happy with the stores in the area. They are very clean. They are only run by a few employees, but they do a fine job.
