Anybody here have a high speed internet alternative to satellite for the rural outskirts of Orlando?

I may move to Geneva, and I am spoiled by my brighthouse connection. I have had a SOLID connection with absolutely no issues for the last seven years.

My parents have satellite and are always complaining.

any ideas?

You're talking about the wireless data plan like what Sprint and Verizon has? If you don't have Brighthouse in that area, then you have no choice but to go wireless, unless you can live with DSL (delivery through phone wires) if it's offered in that area.

unfortunately that part of Geneva does not get cable nor DSL.

I found these guys

who do line of sight, but I will need to place the receiver above the tree line, which means a tower since it is pretty flat where the house is.

Do you really want to live in Geneva? Why? Especially if it may not have all the comforts you're accustomed to.

Yeah, Geneva its not for everyone.

That is my only comfort requirement(not really, just something I really prefer). I do not even watch TV. As far as the rest, I do not see anything else I would be lacking/missing from what I have now (which is not that far anyway).
