My brother and sister-in-law are looking at a house in the Summerport Division in Windermere and were wondering (for work reasons) how long it would take them to get to Downtown Disney from there.
Thanks

Is that taking 535 or using the back entrance to Disney?

A lot of people in Summerport work at Disney, so it can't be that far. I agree, 20 minutes is about right.

I'm driving through Windermere to Disney every day. I work for Disney. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get there. I'm using back entrance, easier access for cast members.

OMG, I live there. It takes us less than 15 minutes! Go 535 to Lake Beuna Vista Drive and your right there! 7 or 8 miles is all it is!

Thanks apples, that is good and bad to hear
My husband and I recently moved here and our two choices of houses was the one we are in now and one in Summerport, I really liked Summerport but for various reasons we chose this one and now I am very much questioning if we did the right thing, so hearing you so it's so close to Disney is great for my sister-in-law but for me,,not so much lol
It really seemed like a nice community, we looked at houses there in march and now we are looking again (for the brother) and it is crazy at some of the stuff you see(foreclosure houses) all lighting fixtures gone, ac units gone, holes in the walls, cabinets gone, I remember one house we looked at back in march that said "kitchen under revnovation, finish it to make the kitchen of your dreams" and when we looked at it, it was obvious they had just gutted the thing and they were trying to use "creative selling tactics" haha
Did you buy recently and encounter the same?
Anyways thanks for the info

A bit envious
Andrea
