I read that this morning, that is great news for the whole east side and the downtown commuters. This will free up a lot of the 408 between Alafaya and the 417 interchange. The only area that should continue to be a problem is the 408 west of the Conway toll plaza which is also being widened right now.

That is good news. I used to drive 408 from Alafaya to john young every day. It was terrible. And this was 3 years ago. I couldnt imagine the traffic now.

I'm hoping that they won't take the entire time to complete the 528 interchange part. It's sad to think how close you really are when passing by on 528 or 417, knowing you're still 20-30 minutes away!
