My husband and I are moving to Altamonte Springs in 2 weeks. I don't have a job lined up yet, but used to work for an airline in the reservations center. I think I would really like working in the Disney call center. Can anyone tell me how I can go about applying...and also what the income potential will be? Thanks!

All such applications are done in person at the Casting Building in Lake Buena Vista opposite Downtown Disney. Everyone starts at the casting Building. You can state a position preference, but if there are no vacancies there, it will severely limit them when considering you for an open position. It is far better to be ready to take any position that is open and then transfer to your preferred position once your foot is in the door.

I worked at the Tampa call center for three years. So I know first hand what goes on. First , during the holidays they have manadtory overtime, anywhere from 15 to 20 hrs extra per week. No excuse. You are required to book anywhere between 15k to 20k per day. If you dont then you wont get your bonus. You have 15 key points to say per call an if you dont you can get written up. three write ups within a month you can lose you job. Oh yea the pays is not too magical either. starts around 8 maybe 950 if your lucky. But you can go to the parks for free. forgot only 12 time per year. Trust me after the third or forth time even the kids get tired of it.

My understanding is that Disney is on a hiring freeze.
