if some of u may recall i was looking for a place to live near UCF....i found one just down the street about 5miles... its in orlando but at the winter park border... university and goldenrod....is anyone familiar with such location...what shoppin is near...i saw a target and Kmart at that intersection...also saw a publix just down the street at dean... what is affortable in this area for shopping..ie good deals.. anything else about the area or helpful hints at good places to shop im open for as well...thanks in advance...

That area is not bad. I do not like Goldenrod further down south of the 408 as much, it gets kind of dumpy. Like you said there is a Target and Kmart. There are a lot of restaurants by the corner of Semoran and University. If you get a Costco membership, there is one by Forsyth and you could save money buying things in bulk. There is a WalMart by Colonial and Rouse.

I would personally stay away from Forsythe and the Wal-Mart on Colonial/Rouse Rd., especially if you are a woman. It aint real safe in those areas, and I dont let my wife shop there, especially at night.
