Cypress Lake Townhomes: I'm considering buying a property in this area. Please be so kind to advice if this complex is in a good neighbourhood, near shops or any attractions etc. etc. Thanks for your time and effort.....

Is that in Lakeside? BVL area? If so, I would definitely visit before making a decision. It is close to Disney and shopping but also overcrowded and crime is on an upswing. Spend a few days in the area and get a good feel for it.

That's a very nice area. I used to live right near there and loved it. It is very affordable and fairly close to the airport, Disney, and Hunter's Creek area. I had no problems. Be weary of Real Estate people posting on here as they tend to promote only one area so they can make more money. Any normal person would find this area pretty nice. No place in Orlando/Kissimmee is perfect, those who flock to the so called "nicer areas" are only fooling themselves.

The area is pretty nice It is South and West of the airport and should be pretty free of the flight paths. The complex was built in from the mid 90's through 2006 so you will find it to be new. The best values are a 3/2.5 at 129 and a couple others at 130k ( of course this is asking and not what it will sell for. These units when built were sold in the 212k price so they have been deeply discounted. If you were to work in Lake Mary then I would say this is not a great choice because of the commute. Keep in mind where you will be working, the gas and tolls can quickly be the difference in price. The complex offers both 2 and 3 bedroom units, I personally think 3 bedrooms are the better investment and will have more wide range appeal.
For me I don't find there is any one perfect place but given the goals someone wants there are some good choices based on those goals,

Ask if you have any other questions.
