Family and I were driving through Narcoossee and decided to go through Laureate Park, just out of curiosity. But just as we started to drive down the road that lead into it, we noticed to the right side far from the major cluster of homes that there were a couple of other houses being built along with some lot signs. Perplexed, we wondered if it was an extension of Laureate Park, since we saw some of its builders making similarly styled homes there.

I'm on David Weekley's website about Laureate Park, and they seemed to have divided up their home sites now up into "Cottages, Villages, Gardens, and Manors". At first I thought that was just style of the kind of home they were making, but it looks like it will be expanding out.

So, does anybody know how large the development is supposed to be? I'm interested in the area as a whole since I may be attending school in the Medical City in a couple of years. Thanks guys!

There is supposed to be 2000 addition homes by the time it is finished. I doubt they will all be in laureate park though just in the area.

Wow! Is this just Lake Nona? I know on the outskirts of Lake Nona, there will be communities like Fell's Landing and Randal Park that are their own separate entities. Is that part of the whole picture or just inclusive to Lake Nona?

I think I figured out the overall layout of what Laureate Park should be in the future. I decided to take a gander at the updated map on the developer's website, and there seems to be a stretch of empty beige indicating land around the first cluster homes. It's most likely what is going there. It just seemed a little confusing, since some of those colored areas bled into possible other neighborhoods.

I kind of wish there was more information about the Town Center. It's been delayed once already, right? Phase 1 should be coming this year, but when? So many questions, ha ha.

Fells landings, and Randal park are there own neighborhoods, but they happen to be in the Lake Nona area. The most updated maps you could look at is Google Maps thy just updated it showing imagery from May 2013. The 2000 homes will strictly be built in the Lake Nona neighborhood. There is actually a need for all 2000 homes as Lake Nona sold over 400 homes last year. I'm sorry I don't have much information on the town center either.
