I have been researching and reading boards. Mostly my impression is that the rides are aging and suffering from deferred maitience. Also, that in general, the park is in decline.

However, when i read the boards some people had a very different visit to Uni than we did. People who were there on the same days as us last month had very different comments. i thought it was very clean and the employees were beyond helpful and friendly. I was surprised at how bad the food was in the parks and how low ket and unobtrusive the security seemed but we felt safe. Others had so many beefs. So, hard to know what to think about Busch in Tampa.

Don't know if it is worth using a day to go over there. Any input ?

Would it be too much to squeeze this park and a beach visit in one day ?

Busch Gardens is one of the best parks in the country and believe me, I've been to a lot. There is a nice mix of thrills and wildlife. It's not a Disney Park, they try to do some theming but it's nothing conpared to Universal, IOA or Dinsey, but the rides and animals are great. It requires a full day.

I love Busch Gardens- the rides are fun and the animals are great. I go somewhat often and always enjoy it. The only negative thing I've noticed is that the staff isn't very friendly overall, but I'm not the kind of person to really care about that sort of thing.

The rides are aging and suffering? Lol. Busch Gardens is amazing. It's totally worth the season pass.

I Wont say any bad things about UNI or any of the parks because people who work there have bad days just like the visitors do. So because people had a bad day they usually have something negative to say about the staff or service. SMH

At any rate Busch Gardens is an interesting theme park. It's not as new and Flashy as UNI or Sea World, but it definitely packs a bang for it's buck. It is a full day park if you consider doing everything. Shows, rides, and games! They have some awesome food at one of those restaurants. I forgot but it is near Cheetah Hunt. But the rest of the food is your average theme park food. Im not picky so it doesn't bother me!'

It can be fun, it can also be a bit rough. They have a lot of rough roller coasters, well the last time I went. OF course they undergo maintenance and care so they may be smoother or whatever. You can definitely tell the difference from roller coasters at other Florida Parks.
