Hello all! Although I am new to posting, I have been using this site for the last year and a half to assist with my family's move from Long Island to Orlando. We've been here 1 year, and so far so good!!

Now it's time for my son to begin kindergarten and I'm stuck between 2 schools. We are zoned for Riverdale Elementary, however, I applied for the Magnet program at Union Park. It's a dual language program and according to what I've read, he would be considered bilingual by the time he graduates 5th grade. I find that this would be greatly beneficial for him as he grows.

My concern is Union Park doesn't test as well as Riverdale. Does anyone have any personal experiences with these schools that could assist me in making a choice? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
