Hey guys, opinions on Clermont Florida? Commute to southern Orlando for work, early twenties but not huge partiers. We like the option to go into the city, but the peace of a suburb. Safety and comfort in an apartment complex is definitely number one. Any suggestions on apartments in the area?
Thanks

Just out of curiosity, why Clermont if you're commuting to south Orlando for work? Admittedly I'm not a fan of commuting to begin with but that seems like a lot of driving everyday unless there's something unique to Clermont that you just have to have.

honestly im not sure. we have been looking in Hunters Creek, Dr Phillips, but they are a little too expensive. I know I get what i pay for but we are looking to keep rent for a 2 bedroom apt under $1000.00, but want a safe and quiet community. My boyfriend is going to school at UTI and I am working around the corner.

Sorry to be late on this, but my husband and I are in our mid-20s and love Clermont. Takes me about 30 minutes to get downtown, which isn't a big deal to me. I used to work down there, and it was a pretty easy drive. I've never felt even close to unsafe here. It's a family-friendly, growing town that still feels kind of small (but in a good way if that makes sense!)

We have friends that live in 2 bedroom apts here that pay around $800/month, so well within your budget. I would advise you stay in 34711 though.

That's a really long commute. Look around Lake Nona/Waterford Lakes instead.

You can't go wrong. I would move back to that area.
