Have been lurking on this site for months, and with all the helpful posts, decided that Clermont is the right fit for us. Will be moving in just a few short weeks, and would like recommendations for doggie daycare so move-in day is not stressful for the pups. Vet suggestions welcome too, and while I'm at it maybe a recommendation or two for Dr's, Dentists, etc for us too? TIA

There's a place at the intersection of Route 27 and Citrus Tower Blvd right by the Citrus Tower that has a doggie day-care. Friends of mine use it a couple days a week for their pooch and are very happy with them.

Dr. Geiler at East Side Vet Hospital is fabulous, I use him for my dogs. (Mine can't go to daycare because one is neurotic and the other doesn't play nicely with other dogs except her brother. )

I've been using Total Family Health Care for eight years. My son and husband have moved over to them as well. I really like them, and can get a same day sick visit when needed.

We like Pawsh Pet in Oakland. Our dog has freaked out at a couple of other places, but he does wonderfully there.

The place on Hwy 27 in Clermont is Pawfection Connection. I've used them for overnight boarding and everyone seems very nice there.

Another place we used (out on Hwy 50 toward Groveland) is Furry Paws Delight. Very nice owners there too.
