I am moving to Orlando in a couple months to go work at Walt Disney World. I am looking for apartments close to Disney, that is safe and not to pricey. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

That's my plan as well. I'm hoping in a few months to have sold my house and be ready to move. Only... I have no idea what neighborhoods are good or bad in Orlando, or what rent would cost me.

Also, I'm not sure how to get a job at Disney (or anywhere) without having an address in Orlando. Or how to rent an apartment there without having a job. One of those catch-22s.

Good luck to you!

Right behind the Magic Kingdom on Reams Road is Buena Vista Apartments that are very reasonable and you can walk across the street to the Magic Kingdom casting (that s if you work in Magic Kingdom). The area is really safe and its considered Windermere area.

I guess it depends on which park you are going to work in, but Lake Buena Vista and Winter Garden are good places in which to start looking. Anything close to exits 6-11 off the 429 will work also, if you are working at AK or HS.
