I am having a hard time finding a grocery store I really like in the Orlando Area. We are living temporarily in the Metrowest area so I have been using the Publix but I am disappointed in the selection especially in the produce section. I appreciate any suggestions. I would consider driving to a better one. Thanks for your help.

Freshfield Farms. They have a separate butcher and produce stores. Prices can't be beat.

Wow - I just looked at their website and and soooo jealous! I am down in Sarasota and there is nothing like that here. We have a lot of places to shop, but I have really been wanting to find a place JUST LIKE THAT! Wish they would open one up down here somewhere!

Publix has never really had the best produce selection. Their stores really arent that big compared to other chains

I would go with Crane's Rooster's recommendation

Freshfield Farms is a drive for you, but it's great. It gets pretty crowded, so make sure you're ready for that.

You might want to check out Winter Garden's farmer's market.
Or any local Farmer's market for that matter.

The Homegrown Food Coop features all local products and most of it is organic. You can order over the phone, online or in person at their store on Orange Ave just south of the main campus of Florida Hospital. Best produce in the area is Fresh market, but it's really pricey. You aren't all that far from Whole Foods on Sand Lake.
