I would like to know more about the rural Oviedo area. Little Big Econ looks interesting. Would like some space, any large lot areas without so many subdivision rules? Is it a safe area compared to Apopka, Sanford etc?

Oviedo is very safe and desirable due to the quality of the schools (important resale consideration). Because of the larger lots in some areas you wouldn't have HOA rules to deal with as they tend to be planned communities and not typically attached to areas with custom homes.

I'm not a real estate agent. I'm a native Floridian and have lived in this area of Florida for 12 years. You can click on my user name and send me messages through "Direct Mail" if you would prefer.

There are several area that have nice lots, safety and a variety of budgets, not just Oviedo. Some REO's even offer the larger lots. Oviedo/ Chulota, Geneva, Wedgefield, St. Cloud on the North Side, Down around Medical City.. There are some good options and some nice properties from $200k to $2 million
