Well, if we're not broke by the time we get there we will be when it comes time to leave lol

Anyhow, people, the family and I are headed your way tomorrow. We've been to the Florida panhandle or Emerald Coast but never the Peninsula. But out son is 9yrs old and we want to check out Disney World before he's to old for it. Anyways, we're looking for ideas on where else to visit and good food places.

Thanks and I look forward to hanging out in Florida.

Ray.

People seem to love Joe's Crab Shack. I think it is awful.

Agreed. I'm not sure why someone would go on vacation and eat at the same chains they can go to at home.

Kids love the "Rainforest Cafe" and "T-Rex" at downtown Disney. Universal City Walk has great restaurants for big kids like Margaritaville and Emeril's. I've also heard the restaurants on a Sand Lake Road are all pretty good.

How long are you going to be in Orlando? Disney World has 4 parks so you will have to decide if you want to see them all or just the Magic Kingdom first. Check out their website to help in planning. It is cheaper to buy multi pass tickets than several single day tickets for every one . There is a lot to see and do at DisneyWorld so you might want to consider making this just a Disney vacation.

If you do want to venture out, Sea World is a great park. My nephew his age loves the park. There is a lot to see and do there, too. Universal has 2 parks which are a lot of fun, too. You might want to consider going to a water park at Disney-both are fun - or Aquatica is good at SW too.

Do you want to see gators while in Florida? Check out Gatorland or take an airboat ride to see some out in natural surroundings.

Take a day to go swim in the ocean?

This is also a good summer to go to the space center.

Or ya might want to go deep sea fishing.

Have fun and enjoy our beautiful state.

Ray.
Huh? There is no such thing as being too old for Walt Disney World.

Thanks for the suggestions.

We did the Disney Magical Kingdom today and what a blast! It got a little warm for us but nothing the rain couldn't fix. I'm not sure what's next but going to be fun

Ps, we the closest Joe's Crab Shack to our house is 2 hrs. So I'm sure we're going to end up there or some kind of sea food place.
