I am having trouble finding the salary for charter school teachers in Florida- in particular, Osceola and Orange County. In NJ, charter school teachers are paid the same as the regular teachers in the township that they are in. I have looked on a few school district websites and can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated

I don't have details, but the charters here do not have to follow the district salary schedule. The whole point of charter schools was to free the schools from rules that traditional schools have. That could include paying teachers differently, which unfortunately in many cases, will be BELOW what you will make in a traditional public school.

You will be making MUCH less than you do in NJ. I have a friend that teaches a charter in Osceola and they are paid pretty much what the public teachers make, however, that might not be true at all the charter schools.
