Hello,

Does anyone know of any good used book stores in Orlando or the Orlando area?

The Book Worm (The Book Worm of Orlando) at Washington & Bumby has a great selection of all genres. They also accept books, audiobooks and DVDs for trade credit that gets you 40% off their prices.

Leedy's Books on Colonial near the Fashion Square Mall is a small specialty bookstore.

I haven't been in a little while, but there's also Keane's in Winter Park (Edgewater & Fairbanks). I had heard that he may be selling the store, though.

Right now my mind is drawing a total blank on the name of the shop--but it is on South Orange Avenue in a strip shopping center that sits on the right hand side of the road if you are heading south. I want to say Book Nook-but I really am not sure. It is further south than Holden, but north of Lancaster. If you are familiar with Orange Avenue where the north & south lanes split and there is the big island in the middle with all of the businesses for a bit--it is in the little shopping center at the south end of the island where the north/south lanes come back together.

I don't know what kind of books you are looking for, but there is a big second-hand store right there in the island section also...they have lots of used books and at super good prices. I buy a lot of hardbacks in there. They also have paperbacks. I think it used to be Amvets, but now the sign says COMMUNITY THRIFT STORE. The front of that store is on the northbound side.

The two stores are literally 1 minute apart.
