Hello,
I am thinking of accepting a job in long beach. Does anyone know how long the commute is from Newport Beach to Long Beach at around 7am and from LB to Newport at around 5pm?
Thanks

Where in Newport and where in Long Beach? I'd say 20-45 minutes depending on traffic and exact starting/ending locations.

I have a buddy who did the NB to LB run for about a year. Went from near Mariners Elementary to the LB harbor area. He said it was 45 minutes. He used PCH because it was just as much time as taking the 405 but had a better view with no stop & go traffic, just stop lights.

I live in the Naples section of Long Beach and can get to Jamboree in Newport if I take PCH in less than 30 minutes. Pretty easy drive. Going the reverse is probably not much different.

I used to drive from Seal Beach to Newport in about 30 minutes going down PCH.My office was right off PCH though so the freeway took longer and was more unpredictable. Going home sometimes took me longer but not by more than 10 min. unless there was something going on at the HB Pier. It's a nice drive which makes it a little easier.

Depends on where you are. Balboa Peninsula or the Island will take you well over an hour to get home in the summer.
