does anyone know of a community/public pool in the Irvine/Lake Forest/RSM/MV area that has a wading pool? i've got a toddler and an infant, and have to watch both of them at once, so i really need a pool where my daughter can splash around w/o my worrying she is going to fall into the deep end. YMCA has one, but we decided we wouldn't use it enough to make the $52/month fee worth it.

thanks,

Heather

You might want to look into parks that have squirting fountains. I know there is one in Tustin that little ones enjoy - Pioneer Park. Check out various parks and recreation's websites.

Do you have any friends that live in apartment, condo, or master planned communities? That's your answer

The only community pool I know of is in Laguna Niguel off Crown Valley near Alicia Pkwy & La Paz Rd. I don't know if they have a wading pool, but you can pay a daily rate to get in. I was surprised at the lack of community pools when we moved to OC. If your HOA or home doesn't have one, I guess people just go to the beach.

As far as I know all pools in Irvine are community/private pools for residents of the respective Villages with the exception of the Aquatics Center at Irvine High/Heritage Park but I do not believe they have a wading pool there.

I know the Altisima pool in RSM has a wading pool. Used to live in a housing tract across the street from it off of El Pandero.
