We like a little hole in the wall next to the Newport Pier in Newport Beach call Ill Farro. The decor is a little cheesy, but its great food, and amazing fresh pasta at reasonable prices.

Mangia Bene in Laguna Niguel is good in my opinion, reasonably priced.

Alessa Laguna in Laguna Beach and Pirozzi in CDM are solid spots with a casual environment. For something fancier, Antonello in Costa Mesa by South Coast Plaza is a good choice.

If you just want pizza, Pizzeria Mozza in Newport is probably the best.

There's a place called Olive Garden off El Toro Rd... Very authentic.

If you're in Dana Point, I'm a huge fan of Casanova's.

Yep:
Mangia Mangia and spaghetti bender are both good.
Roman Cuccina in Sunset is good, there is also a location in Fullerton. There may be others.

We also like Piccarellis in Long BEach (on PCH and Loynes), Cafe Gazelle (2nd Street Long Beach, Bolsa Chica and Edinger in Huntington Beach. Luigis on Main Street Huntington Beach and Sunset Pasta and Pizza on PCH in Sunset Beach.

Best Pizza (and i'm a NYer): La Roccas Downtown HB. Best Calzone: Kings in HB

Yes, yes, and yes. If you go after 6 I think the parking meters are free.
