Does anyone have any information about the Regis building on 16th street in Omaha? I found a Real Estate agent advertising it as having Executive Condos for rent. Are these apartments really as good as they are being advertised as? Just looking for information. I am an older non-traditional (44 yr old male) law student looking for a quiet apartment for my home (approximately 2 years) but also for a place to do some very intense on-line study. Concentration is absolutely essential and therefore I need to find a quiet building. My initial thought is, that the older, brick and cement buildings are probably better and more solidly constructed than the newer, basically hollow buildings. Also, I am thinking that the top floor would probably be the best place for me to be. I would appreciate anyone that has information that would help me or has an opinion as to where I should be looking. I am familiar with Omaha but could use some guidance as to the best buildings and areas. Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know about this building specifically. I'll ask a friend of mine that might know and get back to you. Most of the apartments downtown have been remodeled and are not too bad. However, most apartments downtown are taken by the younger crowd, but again, I'm not sure about this building specifically.

That being said, 16th street is usually the gathering point for many interesting characters. It's one of those places during the day you just keep walking without making eye contact and during the evening you try to avoid.

But I will see if I can find out anymore information about the building specifically and let you know on here. Standby.

Default Regis Building

I would appreciate that. Another concern is parking. From what I understand there is a parking ramp attached to the rear of this building but obviously I haven't been able to verify that. As far as the room is concerned, it looks nice in the online photos.
Thanks for any information you can access; hopefully confer with you later.
