Is it allowed to request the above on this forum?
I had a toy flushed down the toilet...I stuck my hand in as far as I could (good thing I scrub often!) but did not feel anything, I plunged and still nothing, yet, paper is not flushing, so I am pretty sure the toy is still hanging around...not sure what to do myself next, so I thought I'd ask for plumber recommendations...thanks in advance if you can help!

Our daughter did the same thing years back, I used a wire coat hanger and was able to pull it out that way.

If you have the ability to pull the toilet and replace it then that's the easiest... you pull it up and then work from the bottom to get it out - just be sure to use a brand new wax ring when you replace the toilet. A 15 minute job if you are comfortable doing it and $4 for the ring.
