ur welcome. not surprised taco bueno didnt last. the fact it was only location in omaha for years may have been sign, it was doomed to fail

having KFC move to 72nd is good business idea cause the one at 60th and ames didnt have a buffett and was a small location

that is why walgreens in benson is moving to bank of the west area over a block from current benson location (it's smaller than other locations)

With what appears to be a couple garage bays in front, I'm guessing maybe Jiffy Lube or equivalent...

I went to the newly relocated KFC at Sorensen Plaza. I got the buffet, but they had virtually nothing out. I had to ask them to put food out. Not impressed.

With Taco Bell and Taco Johns already having an established foothold in Nebraska (the Taco Bueno franchisee also built a store or two in Lincoln), there probably wasn't room for another Tex-Mex chain. I'm surprised that location up by Immanuel lasted as long as it did considering the West Omaha and Lincoln locations shut down rather quickly, maybe 2 years after they opened.

Their food was nothing special, but I actually liked it over Taco Bell and Johns for fast Tex-Mex food. It didn't give me heartburn, lol. I don't eat that crap like I did back in high school and college though.

In other KFC news, the 138th and Q store has been remodeled.
