Omaha TV News: Back

glad btw to see Brockman back from his or her's vacation.

quote:

Although Weber is still more palatable than his successor, Ross Jernstrom, his post-retirement loitering is second only to Rainbow Rowell's return to the local paper in the "Pathetic Retreads" department.

(billiefan2000 side note: Rowell is a embarassment as both her being a Omaha North grad and as a Omaha world herald reporter. she has done more to embarass both with her nonsensical articles.

I was up here for the CWS and noticed that JPa messed up reading a slide that was on the screen he was reading word for word what was shown on the screen but became lost.

Not only does Justin Joseph of WOWT take himself waaaaay too seriously, he writes as if he's composing a script for a 1968 episode of Dragnet. Check it out here.

Excellent. . I've been wondering when the next update was going to come out. In my boredom during the 10:00 pm newscast. I have taken the liberty of pausing and snapping pictures whenever something bogus happens on suxnews. Of course you can't capture certain gaffes in a picture, but there are plenty of other screw ups that I can catch.. .

Why do you guys hate channel 6 that much? I really don't like the new kid they got doing the sports...but I have no issues with the rest.

I've seen people on here say that they reported false information...but when I asked I got no response.

That blog pretty well covers WOWT's shortcomings IMO.

I don't hate them. I just think there are enough mistakes to make a pretty sizeable blooper reel. I must like them because I watch them all the time. Justin Joseph is really overdramatic. . Tracy Madden is too high strung. John looks like he's having a hard time reading the script and when he goes to the side to have a little conversation with the other anchors it's really uncomfortable. Then all of the anchors just start laughing like school girls for no reason what so ever. "The Huskers will be playing Idaho this weekend" (hilarity ensues). I could watch 7, but then I don't get to chuckle, rewind, chuckle again. 3 is just unbearable.
