I'll be moving to Boise City, OK sometime in the next couple of months. Anyone ever been there or know anything about what it's like there? It loiooks small and ugly????...TIA
I've been through there as well, a long, long time ago and it was on our way to Denver. What is taking you to Boise City? Not to bash the city or anything, but it's really an isolated place. Generally the winters are pretty cold, and there are high plains everywhere you look. It's at about 5000 ft above sea level. Aside from that I don't know too much about the place.
Actually closer to 4,000. 4,165 according to city-data. It's sure high by Oklahoma standards though, they have lots of sun and little to no humidity. Tons of wind too. Today they are seeing a snowstorm that almost everyone is Oklahoma isn't.
Hey Nameless,
You're right. I was going off weather underground's website, which says 4,965 feet above sea level. Upon closer examination it says "Clayton, NM." I guess that's the nearest city/town of any size. Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow.
So do you remember the name of the motel you stayed in and the cost per night. I'll be there 3 months!....tia
