When I talk to my relatives who have no power, I tell them that people from across the country are pulling for them, and that they are on the national news, etc. That does make them feel better!

My daughter's power finally was restored last night. This morning she is watching TV, fixing her hair with electricity, running the heat full blast, etc.

No, she lives in Norman in one of the hard hit areas. The photos I posted last night were all around her house. I do have relatives in Tulsa who were without power until Thursday.

my dad is still without power in Sand Springs. He is staying at his mom's in West Tulsa, so at least he is warm. He said that homes 2 blocks from him has power, so he's hoping he's next. That has to be frustrating to see homes so close to yours have power and you have none.

I'm glad your dad has a place to stay, seahawksweetie. Still, he will be so glad to get back in his own home.

I like this forecast. I have to work on my tan.

I don't remember but it hit Oklahoma City and Tulsa at about the same time. That ice storm missed Stillwater, luckily, by just a matter of miles.

The black out wasn't in one spot. It came from Texas through Ok. and all the way to W, VA.
