Hello! I just recently moved to OKC from Penna. to find work in the oil and gas industry. I'm an engineer new to the industry and trying to find some networking groups, clubs or associations where I can mingle, network and learn more about this huge industry in Oklahoma. Does anyone have any suggestions locally? Please forward them to me. Thank you.

I know that various professional organizations, such as SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) and AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) have sections in OKC. I believe there is also an organization called Oilfield Christian Fellowship, or something similar and I recently heard about a Oilfield prayer breakfast. I don't know if that is something they do monthly just every so often.
