Are there any safer areas I should be looking at for HUD housing (apartment) in the Edmond area? We are a family of two disabled adults, thinking about moving from Northeast OK closer to OKC. Are there any other towns we should consider? We will need 2 bedrooms, and we have a 5 pound dog.
I understand Edmond might be a good consideration.
Has anyone rented an apartment there using a Section 8 voucher?
Thank you!

I don't really know anything about HUD housing, but you might check out Crownridge Apartments on Thomas St, in Edmond. They've only been there about 4 years or so and they look to be pretty nice and quiet.

I am looking for a three bedroom home for my three children and myself. I have a section 8 voucher and would like to stay in Edmond for my kids educational interest. Does anyone know if or where I could look for one in Edmond I perfer a house.
