No Alakapat, we are not any more worried about the economy and crime than any other City in the US...and there is no gang problem in Cincinnati. There is a Pit bull ban since 2003 in Cincinnati. I agree that these dogs have no place in an area with families and children--they are extremely powerful no matter how well you train them.

No, wrong about no gang problem. Read the posts of how many different gangs are there. All cities have gangs and "yes" it is a problem. Pits can be dangerous, but so can rotties, german shepherds, the list goes on and on.

I am on that thread about Gangs and you will see my comments there as someone who currently lives here and is very involved in the community. One person on that thread who insists there are gangs, slams Cincinnati every chance he/she gets and doesnt even live here but thinks just because they visit, they know more. I have asked for names and locations and NONE have been given.

Rotts, german shepards, boxers...none of them have the same power and locking capability that Pits have.

Rotts have a 1500# jaw capacity; pits have a 1200# jaw capacity, so you see Rotts are just as dangerous, they are larger and more powerful in body then pits. I love animals and am against bans on breeds, because they won't stop at the pit breed, it will continue on. They need to ban the owners who are irresponsible with their dogs.
