What is a better place to live/invest? Which is colder? How about utilities, car insurance, and property taxes? Is there anything I need to know. I am university educated SWM, living half way around the world...might repatriate sometime. Can work with internet, but certainly don't want to live anywhere hopeless. Thanks!

Akron is colder and gets way more snow, I'm not sure how they compare in the other three categories since I've never lived near Akron. Whenever Akron gets a successful business, Cleveland steals it from them under the name of "regionalism". Cincinnati doesn't seem to do the same with Dayton, in fact there are even times when Cincinnati-area companies bring jobs closer to Dayton.
