LOL! I'm sure the author of that blog would be honored to know that they are the pro-yo movement.

It occurred to me while feeding the cat that I should let everyone in on the joke.

00000 is probably referring to this blog post: i will shout youngstown: let's all move into the Garden District

The "I Will Shout Youngstown" blog is only one of many pro-Youngstown related blogs.

I recently found out that the Brownlee Woods area back in the 20's was actually considered Poland...which would explain to me why I have a Poland Zip. I hear talk that it is under consideration of making the Brownlee Woods area~~Poland again. Have you heard anything on this? A neighbor of mine told me he saw it on the news. I think it would be great because it would raise the value of my home among others...naturally my taxes would be raised but I think it would be worth it in the long run if I decided to sell. Which I am seriously thinking of doing. Let's face it Youngstown does not have a very good reputation & potential buyers won't even consider moving to Youngstown & the schools also have a bad rep. Let me know if you have heard anything on this or knows someone that might

I haven't heard anything about that. But I don't keep a very close eye on the news, so I could have missed it.

IMO, Youngstown's schools are a bigger factor in lowering our property values. And, if Brownlee Woods somehow became part of Poland again, the shool district boundaries wouldn't change. School district boundaries, (and zip code boundaries) are independent of city boundaries.
