We are moving to Orrville by the end of this month. We are needing a place to temporarily reside until we close on a house.(2 months)I've called about every rental home ad and no one wants to rent for that amount of time. We are good, clean renters.I am wondering about the hotels within a 20 mile radius.I am wondering if any have in-room kitchenettes? We sure can't afford to go out to eat for 2 months. We have 4 kids(18,13,9, and 1) and a dog.Oldest will be leaving for college a week after we get there and we don't neccessarily have to keep the dog.
Any ideas?

You can try the Extended Stay in Fairlawn/Montrose, OH which should fit the 20 mile radius requirement. Extended Stay America

I don't know of any hotels in or around Orrville, not saying that there aren't any. Maybe Wooster, OH has something closer? I don't know.

Your best bet (while you're staying in an extended suite type hotel) is to get in with the local yokels in Orrville and surrounding areas because word goes far in these tightly-knit communities. This is how people get jobs, sell houses, rent apartments/houses, etc.

There is a community bulletin board inside of Buehler's grocery store located in Orrville. There is a large Buehler's in Wooster, OH which is not too far away. You could put up a flyer on the community bulletin board which states that you are looking for a house rental for a few months.

You can also take out an ad looking for a short-term rental in such publications as the "Trading Post", which is a free newspaper that targets particular areas. The Post Newspapers

You can also take out an ad in a paid newspaper called "The Daily Record" and see if you can get a short-term rental that way. The-Daily-Record.com - Breaking News, World & Local News, Sports & Multimedia

Both of these newspapers are both online and in print.

I wish you and your family the best.
