I agree - Windward mall is convenient, Farmers Market, Sears, Sports Authority, Movies - and mini golf can all be had at the mall.

Most of the Sears prices match the mainland.

Thanks, guys! See you in Feb.'23! Getting back to the original question, I suppose the only real way to verify why the Kaneohe Asian population is so high (35.5%) is to ask someone in this community directly, which I shall do. Mahalo!

You do know that 46% of the people on Oahu are Asian don't you??????

Therefore, at 35.5%, Kaneohe is below average

Of course, the Marine Corps facility at Kāneʻohe might have something to do with the demographic disparity.

Of course, you did forget to mention Hawaii is one of only two states that does not count non-resident military

Only 46%? I wonder what the % is for areas "in Town". I am guessing 80%, am I correct?

Probably not - Even Pearl City tops out at 60%.

Everyone that resides at or near military facilities aren't necessarily "non-resident military" or even "active military" members. "Ex-military" (retirees and otherwise), "military contractors," "military families," "military dependents," etc. all influence the demographics of communities near military facilities.

Everyone that resides at or near military facilities aren't necessarily "Ex-military", "military contractors", "military families", or "military dependents" - nor, are they necessarily all white.

In all seriousness - by your logic, Kaneohe would have a lot higher white population than Kailua and it is the other way around.
