I like places like Wing University (Fairfax) and Buffalo Wing Factory (there are a few of these, but don't know if there are any near Tyson's). I have not had good luck finding the kind of wings I like around here.
I dont really think Tysons will provide you with great wings...unless places like Gordon Biersch and Coastal Flatts have tasty specials...
but I will say that 51st State near GW campus/Gtown has some great wings, and they are only 20 cents on Tues nights. They used to be 10 cents just a few years ago. Good times!!
Located in Purcellville, VA (sorry I know it's not Tysons), it's about 30 minutes west of Tysons off Rt. 7, is a place called Main Street Wings and if you ever get a chance to go there they make most of their own sauces for the wings, boy are they great. My husband's favorite is Raspberry Chipoltle Wings, mmmmmmm!
