We're finally moving to AZ. Need to find a really good quality painter. I'm a photographer and I'm very detail oriented and I want near perfect work

In addition - (We're in the Kingstowne Area up the street from the Telegraph entrance to Ft. Belvoir) we are shopping for real estate agents (probably somewhat local). I want someone who's going to be honest in their appraisal of what we should list for. We're in the position of being the best/most upgraded 3 bed. condo with the best view of the woods and some pretty pricey improvements... I do realize we're not going to get the $40,000 worth of improvements but we're hoping it will make our place sell faster than others on the market. We want to move by the first week of Nov... maybe the second week.

Anyone know a super agent - with great advertising abilities on the net. I'm a firm believer in good use of the internet for selling and lots of visuals (photos of the interior etc..)

Recently places are selling the weekend of the open house. One 2-bedroom place priced at $320,000 had three offers (one above the asking) on the open house weekend but it appraised for a little less). I need someone really savvy about how much we can realistically get for our condo w/the upgrades. Feel free to email me privately or post here - About Painter and/or Realtor Thanks

Call Julie Williams at Williams realty. She's a great agent, does lots of internet advertising. She just sold a condo in Alexandria. She also knows the best painting crew in the world. Ask her for Calixto's phone number. He's fabulous, and quick and reasonably priced. Williams Realty, Your Northern Virginia Real Estate Agents www.williamsrealty.us www.williamsrealty.com

I am going to surprise you. I am a real estate broker but I am not after your business, I do not work in the Springfield area. Go to homesdatabase.com and click on find an agent. Find a brokerage close to you and call the broker in charge and ask for a recommendation. You want someone who knows your area well, preferably someone who lives in the area. Don't be too impressed by the top producers, you want someone who isn't so busy they will have time for you and won't turn you over to another team member.

Thank you all! I forgot to report back. I found an amazing agent. Marianne Welds with Weichart. I sold in two days. Full asking price but the appraisal was 10,000 less ;-( Happens. Got a great paint job from Jose (if anyone wants his number - email me). He was recommended by Bill and Cindy Reators (who I did not use) and he was a full $1,000 less than the competitors! Excellent job and I'm picky

Hey, great followup, thanks! Can I ask where you're moving to in AZ? We're looking to retire and AZ might fit our needs. Good luck on your move.

I would like to recommend Rodriguez Drywall and Painting.

I have never used his services, but in helping him find a new home, I spoke with him often and spent time with he and his family. I am so confident in this man's honorability that I recommended him to my own mother. He is a man with integrity and he's honest. I want to help him however I can.

Anyway, he's got 20 years of experience...and you don't stay in the same business for that long if you don't know what you're doing. I don't think I'm allowed to post his contact info on here. Ping me if you want his number. If you decide to use him, please tell him I sent you.

Thanks so much. I think Tucson might be our next visit. We'll be north of there next week. . . visiting Flagstaff/Prescott and Grand Canyon. Have a great adventure and good luck!
